Die Zeiten, in denen nicht-professionelle Liebhaber barocker Aufführungspraxis ihre alten Instrumente nur im heimischen Wohnzimmer oder auf dünn gesäten Spezialkursen auspacken konnten, gehören nun der Vergangenheit an. Mit dem zamus: amateur barock orchester schließt das zamus diese Lücke in der deutschen Ensemblelandschaft. Einmal pro Monat treffen sich hier engagierte Laien Musiker:innen aus ganz Deutschland, um gemeinsam größer besetzte Werke der Barockzeit zu erarbeiten. Angeleitet von Peter Wuttke (Bläser) Anette Sichelschmidt (Streicher) und Suzana Mendes (Continuuo) tasten sie sich an die historisch informierte Spielweise, Artikulation, Verzierungslehre und das Spiel ohne Dirigenten heran. Im Rahmen des kommenden zamus: early music festival gibt das zamus: amateur barock orchester sein viertes Konzert.
